Newsfield (뉴스필드) is a South Korean online newspaper. Labor and human rights reporting and oversight of corporate power are its two main areas of coverage. It was registered in Seoul in July 2016 and is published by Field Group.

What we publish

Our reporting draws on primary records such as regulatory filings, audit reports, public-agency disclosures, National Assembly records and interviews. The Korean edition is our original publication. The English Edition carries translations of selected Korean articles for readers outside Korea.

Editorial standards

Newsfield follows the Korean Newspaper Code of Ethics and the Korea Internet Newspaper Code of Ethics, along with its own published ethics code.

• Accuracy: articles are based on facts. When an error is confirmed, we correct it promptly and tell readers.
• Fairness: we reflect the positions of the parties involved and do not speak for any particular interest group.
• Independence: we keep reporting independent of political, economic and social pressure. Advertising is kept separate from news, and advertorials are not allowed.
